She pauses and watches you now carefully. The light of the moon glows behind her, you can see her nose twitch with anticipation, unsure whether to trust you. Rabbits are symbols of good luck, new beginnings, and sensitivity. Welcome this patient bunny into your home to bring a warm glow.
This is an original piece that has been hand drawn onto a piece of wood, wood type varies by ornament. Linework and shading was then hand wood burned into the surface. Afterward the purple raven was painted with watercolors and a touch of gouache.
Ornaments do not have a sealant. They are not recommended for high wear and tear areas or purposes. They are made from real wood and are subject to cracking if left in extreme light, heat or cold. For this reason I don’t recommend hanging in a window (although some customers have enjoyed doing so). Each ornament comes with a Twine loop for easy hanging as a Christmas decoration or wall ornament.
While the patient moon rabbit is a one of a kind handmade work of art, this design may be reproduced in the future. It may also be sold as prints and/or stickers.
